Meet the Staff and Board of Trustees

Dedicated to Service, Stewardship, and Community Engagement

The North Brookfield Haston Public Library is fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and trustees who work tirelessly to ensure the library remains a vibrant community resource. From managing day-to-day operations to guiding long-term planning, the individuals listed below contribute to the library's mission and success.

Our Staff

Lia Tulip, Director
As the Library Director, Lia oversees all library operations, including staff management, budgeting, program development, and community outreach. With a passion for literacy and community engagement, Lia ensures the library provides excellent service to all its patrons. She is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where people of all ages can explore, learn, and grow.

Brianna Lamb, Youth Services Librarian
Brianna is dedicated to serving the youngest members of our community. She develops and implements educational programs, including storytimes, craft sessions, and reading initiatives, to engage children and encourage a love of reading. Brianna is a passionate advocate for youth literacy and works closely with schools, parents, and local organizations to support children’s learning and development.

Joyce Tibbetts, Assistant Librarian
As Assistant Librarian, Joyce supports daily operations and provides excellent customer service to all library patrons. Joyce is an expert at assisting with book selections, managing library materials, and creating eye-catching displays. Her friendly and helpful demeanor ensures that visitors feel at home when they visit the library.

Our Volunteers
In addition to our dedicated staff, the library is supported by a wonderful team of volunteers. These generous individuals give their time and energy to assist with various tasks, from shelving and book checkout to helping with library maintenance. We are incredibly grateful for their contributions, as they help to enrich the library’s offerings and enhance our connection with the community.

Board of Trustees

The Library Board of Trustees provides guidance and oversight for the library’s operations, ensuring that it meets the needs of the community while adhering to its mission. The trustees work closely with the library director to plan and implement policies, budgets, and long-term goals. The Board of Trustees meets the first Monday of each month. The meeting location and agenda are posted at the Town Offices at least 48 hours prior to each meeting.

Opening Hours

Monday: 1pm-7pm

Tuesday: 9am-5pm

Wednesday: 9am-5pm

Thursday: 1pm-7pm

Friday: CLOSED

​​Saturday: 9am - 12pm

​Sunday: CLOSED

The library is closed on holidays.

For security purposes, the lower level and Children’s Department close 10 minutes before closing time. Main doors are locked 5 minutes before closing.
